The Anderson Snow Splash Park stands as a testament to community spirit, funded largely by the Hernando County Commission and local Rotary Clubs. "We're not just opening a splash park, we're opening a space for family, friends, and neighbors to come together to create lasting memories," said Dominique Holmes, Public Information Officer for Hernando County Government.

Spanning an impressive six thousand square feet, the park is equipped with over 30 interactive water elements, designed to engage children of all ages. From a pirate ship that invites imaginative adventures to interactive features like a lighthouse splash fountain and a massive water bucket ready to drench those standing beneath it, there’s no shortage of excitement. Visitors can enjoy a refreshing day splashing around or simply relax at the nearby covered pavilions.
Open to All—For Free!
Accessibility to all is a core focus of the Anderson Snow Splash Park. The facility can accommodate up to 174 visitors at a time and is completely free to enter, ensuring families don’t have to worry about spending a dime for a day of fun. It’s open daily from 10 a.m. until sunset, encouraging year-round enjoyment for Hernando County residents.

Jeff Rogers, Hernando County Administrator, expressed pride in this large-scale community investment. "It’s fulfillment that the board of county commissioners made a good decision in the community; investing impact fee dollars and regular tax dollars for quality-of-life improvement for our community," he noted.
